Tinder is a dating app designed to help you find attractive people nearby to share common interests with.

With Tinder, setting up a profile and meeting other people is easier and more convenient than ever.

Tinder’s home screen scans your location for people anywhere from 1 to 100 miles away.

Once the list populates, you can swipe through and ‘like’ or ‘dislike’ someone by either swiping right or left, or by cliking the heart or the ‘x’ buttons.

The app pulls info from your Facebook – which is required to sign up – including a few pictures, your About Me, and your likes.

You can also Super Like someone to let someone know that you’re really interested in connecting with them.

Within the settings options for Tinder, you select which gender and age range in which you are interested in, as well as filter out other users who you consider to be too far away.

So, for example, you could have the app only show you men from 20 to 25 years old, located 2 kilometers or less away.

You can change which images appear, but only to other photos from your Facebook account, by going to your profile, accessible through the menu located in the top left hand corner of the app.

From here, you can also change Tinder’s settings, including the maximum distance of suggested matches, as well as age range and sexual preference.
