Transfer all your content from your old Galaxy to your new phone
If you are firm to the Samsung Galaxy line and you’ve purchased the latest prototype, or if you have just replaced your device, now you can transport all your old data to your new device without any wires, all thanks to Samsung Smart Switch Mobile.
This app organizes all the data stored on the device’s memory in three big sections: personal data, connections, messages, and your calendar; multimedia data, with music, photos, and videos; and apps you installed simultaneously with other documents.
Samsung Smart Switch Mobile can’t copy files that are saved on the memory card. But you don’t actually need any application to transport those files, just the card itself.
To transfer your files with Samsung Smart Switch Mobile, you just have to choose the class you want to transfer, and you can even navigate within it just in case there’s a particular file or subfolder that you need to leave out.
To transport the files, you need to install this application on both devices and choose the Receive/Send choice in each one. Samsung Smart Switch Mobile operates with WiFi, and besides having this app on both devices, you’ll also need them to be joined to the same network.
The process can take a couple of minutes, depending on the size of the data you are moving to, but everything will be stored in your new device with precisely the same settings that the previous one had.
